Week 12

PLANNING

So far the knight got his head, torso, legs and feet.

What he misses is some hands, arms and the dynamic details, the cloth and the feather. I'm also going to add some more details to some areas. 

Monday
Block out the hand. Research UV mapping more indepth and make some tests on the character to see if I need to make some changes. I'm primarily thinking of how the UV mapping is effected by the nurbs tension. If it turns out to be problems I'll go over the torso and head again to see if I can fix it up.

Tuesday
Finish up the hand. Add arm armor and stitching. Meld the arms and legs to the torso. Tada the solid character is done!

Wednesday
Research cloth more and work out a nice mantle. Try belting it to the character and do some tests. 

Thursday
Reaseraching the fether tool more in depth and work on the feather. Getting it working and add it to the character.

Friday
Work on the UV mapping. If I get a good map I'll start working on the textures.

When I first saw the external world I just thought it was very weird. But I thought is was very fascinating and had to watch it again. I love the style and the character and way they act. Its a bit like a film of Roy Andersson (a very good thing). It's flat and deep, boring and very interesting. You cant help but get sucked in.

The visuals are very stylized and present some great characters.
