E4 stinger

Time to upload my E4 stinger. Will probably do some tweaking before sending it to E4 but this is pretty much it.

Evaluation:

I'm pleased with the overall lock of the finished animation. I do however think that the idea behind the animation fails in its purpose. I don't think this animation will function well in a stinger format. It doesn't have the "sting". It doesn't deliver the E4 message with the punch it requires to be a stinger. This is simply becous I chose the wrong idea to work from. It can't be stressed how much the idea and story makes an animation stand or fall. I just have to give the script more energy and a more critical eye in future productions. 

I'ts not a story with a sad ending though. Even though this might not be an animation fit for its purpose it does work well in a showreel and does show some good techniques that might be good to present to customers in the future. The mix of 2D and 3D along with some multi pass rendering, time saving sub polygon displacements and so on is all good stuff.
